Email Verification

After creating your Oliver AI account, you must verify your email address before you can access the platform. Verification confirms that you own the email address and activates your account.

How Verification Works

1. Register your account -- Provide your name, email, organization name, and password during sign-up.
2. Receive a verification code -- Oliver AI sends a 6-digit numeric code to the email address you registered with.
3. Enter the code -- On the verification screen, type in the 6-digit code from your email.
4. Account activated -- Once verified, you are automatically logged in and can start using the platform.

Verification Code Details

• The code is 6 digits (e.g., 482731).
• Codes expire after 15 minutes. If your code expires, you can request a new one.
• Each new code replaces the previous one -- only the most recent code is valid.
• The code is sent from the Oliver AI system email.

Requesting a New Code

If your verification code expired or you did not receive it:

1. On the verification screen, click Resend Code.
2. A new 6-digit code will be sent to your registered email.
3. Check your inbox (and spam/junk folder) for the new code.
4. Enter the new code to complete verification.

Note: Only one active verification code exists per email address at any time. Requesting a new code invalidates the previous one.

Troubleshooting

I did not receive the code

• Check your spam or junk folder.
• Ensure you registered with the correct email address.
• Wait a minute and try clicking Resend Code.
• If using a corporate email, ask your IT team to whitelist emails from Oliver AI.

The code is not working

• Make sure you are entering the most recent code (if you requested multiple).
• Verify there are no extra spaces before or after the code.
• If 15 minutes have passed, click Resend Code to get a fresh code.

I entered the wrong email at registration

If you registered with the wrong email address, you will need to create a new account with the correct email. Contact your organization admin if you need the previous registration removed.

After Verification

Once your email is verified:

• You are automatically signed in to your account.
• If your account was created by a manager (via invitation), you may be prompted to reset your password on first login.
• You can proceed to set up your profile and start using Oliver AI features.

Security

• Verification codes are stored securely and expire automatically.
• Codes are single-use -- once verified, the code cannot be reused.
• All verification emails are sent over encrypted connections.
